Why "The Prudent Woman" "The houses and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord." (Proverbs 19:14). In our modern world, we are often told to be "ambitious," "independent," or "driven." While there is a place for many virtues, the Bible highlights a specific quality that transforms a woman’s life and the lives of those around her: Prudence! Dear Prudent Woman, To be a prudent woman is to live with intentionality. It is the bridge between knowing God’s Word and actually applying it to our daily lives. A prudent woman is discerning: She doesn’t just react to her emotions or the world’s trends. She pauses, prays, and weighs her choices against the truth of the Bible. A prudent woman is prepared: Like the five wise virgins in the parable, she ensures her lamp is full of oil.
